Gorge Rides is a team effort. Here's who handles what, so you always know who's behind the program.
The local library operator — the people you'll meet at the hubs. They handle reservations, checkouts and check-ins, orientations, hub upkeep, and day-to-day support in English and Spanish. Call or text them at (971) 754-4392, 8am–5pm, every day.
A nonprofit advancing equitable electric mobility. Forth administers the Gorge Rides program under the WSDOT grant — program design, finances, incident oversight, and reporting to the state.
Our contracted bike shop. Dr. Roscoe's inspects the fleet monthly and handles repairs — safety-critical fixes within 24–48 hours, so every bike you borrow is road-ready.
Our safety education partner. Bikeabout designed the Pre-Ride Orientation, the safety video, and the training our staff deliver at every checkout.
Community engagement and outreach — connecting the program with neighbors, local organizations, and events across Bingen and White Salmon.
Supported with funding from Washington's Climate Commitment Act. The CCA supports Washington's climate action efforts by putting cap-and-invest dollars to work reducing climate pollution, creating jobs, and improving public health. Information about the CCA is available at climate.wa.gov. The program is also funded by Washington's Clean Fuel Standard.
