Launching June 30 · Free · Bilingual
A free community e-bike library for residents of Bingen and White Salmon. 30 bikes across three neighborhood hubs — for errands, the commute, the school run, or the long way home. Bikes start going out June 30.
The library is grant-funded through Forth Mobility and WSDOT. Borrowing is always free to residents of Bingen and White Salmon.
Take a bike home for a long weekend, a busy work week, or a whole month. Standard step-through e-bikes are great for errands; cargo bikes haul kids and groceries.
Pick up at Daubenspeck Park, Rhine Village, or downtown White Salmon — all in the neighborhood. Helmet and lock included.
Pick your dates, your bike, and which hub to grab it from. Upload a document that shows your name and a local address — or tell us if you don't have one.
Our team reviews your reservation. You'll get a text and email with your confirmed pickup time.
A 10-minute orientation covers the bike, the route, helmet fit, and lock use. Then you're rolling.
Bring it back to any hub or schedule a pickup. Tell us how it went so we keep improving the program.

Anyone 18 or older who lives in Bingen or White Salmon. We confirm residency with any document that shows your name and a local address — a bill, a statement, a piece of mail, or your ID. No credit check, no fees.
You can still get a bike. We never turn anyone away for lack of paperwork. Just choose "I don't have a document" when you reserve, or call us at (541) 705-2438 — a neighbor, a caseworker, or a partner organization can help confirm you're local, and our team will get you set up.
The bikes are free. We may collect a small refundable deposit at checkout to cover damage — returned in full when the bike comes back in good condition.
Helmet (sized for you), lock, lights, and a quick orientation. Trailers are available on request for hauling kids, groceries, or gear.
Call us — we'll come get you. Mechanical issues are our problem, not yours, as long as you weren't doing tricks on it. We carry insurance on the fleet.
Yes. Our cargo bikes are built for child seats and trailers. We'll show you how to load and balance, and we have helmets for kids of all sizes.
